Useful Information
Pick up at the hotel at 8:15 a.m. for a tour of about 2 hours with a stop at the Cathedral to admire inside the Treasure Chapel in its Baroque style and the basilica of St. Restituta the first early Christian basilica from the 4th century AD.
Continuation by minibus to the city center via the Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino) and new stop in the area of Posillipo at the terrace of the church of S.Antonio from which there is the best panoramic view of the gulf. Return to the city center with a visit to Plebiscite Square, of the splendid Umberto I gallery and the exterior of the Royal Palace and of the S.Carlo theater
Continuation to Pompeii for a guided tour of the archaeological excavations. The guide will explain the city's most striking sites such as the Forum, the Baths , the House of the Vettii and the Lupanare buried by ash and lapilli during the 79 AD eruption
Return to the hotel at about 1:30 pm.
